Celebrity is a term that is used to describe a group of people who have prominent proof public fascination and always influence the news on media daily. They are recognised by the public due to their wealth,status,popularity and prominence in their respective fields such as politics,sports,music,acting among other fields. They also command respect from everyone due to their achievements.

Celebrities have both positive and negative influence in the lives of their fans. One celebrity who has had a positive impact in different peoples' lives is Charles Njagua Kanyi popularly known as Jaguar. He is considered one of Kenya’s best hitmakers. Besides his music,the Kigeugeu hitmaker is best known for his philanthropic nature always helping out the less fortunate.

He is also quite the successful businessman and his journey to the top was nowhere close to easy. For him education was a struggle since he lost his mother when he was still very young. A young jaguar used to walk all the way from Eastleigh to Kikuyu every day for school and when times got really hard, the matatu touts were gracious enough to let him ride for free because they saw his determination to make it in life and he sure made it.

Musician Charles Njagua Kanyi popularly known as Jaguar is a man who loves making an impact. He knows how to be at the right place at the right time but he also changes lives. This story is one of those instances where Jaguar really changes lives.

Former street urchins Jaguar met and helped to buy Mkokoteni have managed to save over Ksh 600,000 allowing them to buy a brand new mini-bus on loan. The 5 who were always hanging out around Ngara area and committing all manner of crimes to stay alive, received their bus from Central Farmers Garage.

The former street boys now have their bus plying Thika Road routes. The bus which cost Ksh 4.5 million will be paid through monthly earnings till the loan is cleared. Jaguar was not ready to reveal how much he added the former urchins to buy the bus but they were happy to finally receive the bus.

This indeed is a story of a celebrity who has used his fame and fortune to bless the less fortunate in society and give them a positive impact in life.
